RDP Marketing is partnering with AgriTrade Hub, Anthology, Cultura Connect and MorePeople to launch the most comprehensive salary benchmark dedicated purely to agricultural sales & marketing professionals ever undertaken. It will also delve into the growing impact of AI in sales and marketing across the agri and animal health sector. You can take part until 21 August; results will be published in September.
If you’re a marketer or sales professional working in agriculture, you’ve probably never seen a salary benchmark that accurately reflects your job. Why? Because existing surveys roll our data in with FMCG, technology, pharmaceuticals, automotive and machinery, etc… This makes no sense. Agriculture is its own industry.
If that absence of accurate data wasn’t an issue before, then it is now. Artificial intelligence is restructuring sales & marketing teams. Workers with AI skills now command a 43% wage premium over those without. Analysts say 64% of jobs done by marketers and 67% those done by salespeople will be replaced by AI.
RDP has partnered with AgriTrade Hub, AgriRS, Anthology, Cultura Connect and MorePeople to help agri-professionals respond to these changes. This means providing real data on compensation and benefits. Because if we don’t know what we’re earning today, then we have no way of tracking how AI reshapes our value over time.
The 2026 Agri Sales and Marketing Survey will be the first edition of an annual exercise; a baseline that grows more valuable with time. The project will capture salaries, benefits, budgets, remote working arrangements, career satisfaction, team changes, and optimism levels. Importantly, it will also explore the growing impact of AI across 10 sectors, from the agri-supply industry to agri-tech to pharmaceuticals.
The final report, due in September, will include a benchmarking tool that allows users to explore data by sector, seniority, region and function. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and the more people who respond, the more authoritative the benchmark.
All responses will be anonymised, and every participant will receive a free copy of the final report – which will include expert analysis from Anthology, Cultura Connect and MorePeople – and access to the benchmarking tool when it’s published in September.
If you’d like to play your part in advancing the agri sales and marketing profession, then take part here. It takes less than 10 minutes.
